Linking an anonymous Linux Shell account to your web panel


Overview: When you register an account on Linux Shell, you may choose to do so through your currently logged in Picrofo Software account or you may choose to register the account anonymously. The below steps will assist you with linking an anonymously created Linux Shell account to your Picrofo Software account so that you would be able to control the Linux Shell account through Linux Shell web panel.

  1. Make sure you are logged in and then visit your account settings by clicking on Settings at the bottom of this page
  2. From the left pane, click on Linux Shell to manage your Linux Shell accounts and then click on Link an anonymous username to your account
  3. Insert the username and password of the Linux Shell account you are planning to link and then click on Link
  4. Go back to your Linux Shell web panel to manage your newly linked account

Resetting a Linux Shell account password


  1. Make sure you are logged in and then visit your account settings by clicking on Settings at the bottom of this page
  2. From the left pane, click on Linux Shell to manage your Linux Shell accounts
  3. Locate the username you would like to reset its password and then click on Reset Password next to that username
  4. Insert the new password that you are willing to use in order to log into that Linux Shell account in the future and click on Change

Deleting a Linux Shell account


  1. Make sure you are logged in and then visit your account settings by clicking on Settings at the bottom of this page
  2. From the left pane, click on Linux Shell to manage your Linux Shell accounts
  3. Locate the username you would like to delete and then click on Delete next to that username
